ACT 1: THE CEREMONY
What goes ahead, goes ahead. See you at 12:30 in front of the facade of Mas les Lloses. We cannot give you more information about it. The reality: we have no idea.
ACT 2: THE "PICAETA"
We do know a little more about this. Valencian tradition says that there is no good lunch without a warm-up. In the family we do have professionals who will teach you how to ride between the “don’t eat too much, you won’t have lunch” and the “bring more peanuts to go with the beer”.
ACT 3: POPULAR LUNCH
The town, the camaraderie, the brotherhood. A meal in a space where you see everyone’s faces. Where we’ll all laugh at everything. And we’ll eat plenty. A real feast, indeed.
ACT 4: THE DANCE
Everything up in the air! By this time, you’ll be tired of the suit, the heels… It’s time to dance like there’s no tomorrow! Without even realizing it, you’ll have completed the classic Valencian ADSL:
- A – Armosar (a hearty mid-morning breakfast, similar to a brunch)
- D – Dinar (lunch, usually the main meal of the day)
- S – Sopar (dinner, a lighter evening meal)
- L – Lo que surja (literally “whatever comes up,” meaning spontaneous fun, partying, or late-night plans).
